Masterpieces of the Fondation Gandur pour l’art. Art Informel from the 1950s to 1980, exhibited in Pully thanks to a collaboration with the foundation, shows that the post-war years were a time of great artistic dynamism, linked to the effervescence of the Liberation. While geometric abstraction was undergoing new developments, approaches such as gestural abstraction, Tachisme and Matter Painting were making an appearance on both sides of the Atlantic.
