The Helvetia collection, one of the most important belonging to a private company in Switzerland, is on show to the public in French-speaking Switzerland for the first time. The exhibition covers landscapes, architecture, installations and portraits - nearly 100 years of Swiss art, from Giovanni Giacometti to Miriam Cahn, Rudolf Maeglin and Thomas Huber. The Musée d’art has also invited four artists from German-speaking Switzerland to create pieces especially for its spaces.
