Isle of models

Models made in the architectural workshops at EPFL are set among an archipelago of hanging islands, juxtaposed with texts from the anthology “ Questions d’échelle ” (Nadja Maillard, Actes Sud, 2018). The model, with its cardboard walls, cut-out people and polystyrene trees, is a controlled world where we can give shape to our ideas. The literary text opens up other imaginary worlds. Both create an endless succession of dreams.
