Carlo Zinelli, recto verso

The Collection de l’Art Brut is the public institution that owns the largest number of works by Carlo Zinelli (1916-1974), one of the most prominent protagonists of Art Brut. From 1962, the Italian artist systematically painted the front and back of his sheets of paper, a characteristic highlighted in the exhibition. The corpus of works is completed with sculptures, family archive documents, sound recordings and photographs.
