Eighty-five supernatural creatures by Christophe Dumont are invited to the permanent galleries of the Rumine Museums and to the Botanical Gardens in Lausanne, in a journey that brings together sculptures and specimens and that mixes humour, imagination and ecological concerns.

Very interested in cryptozoology and taxidermy, Christophe Dumont sculpts fabulous animals around a theme, nature, and a material, metal, by combining it with plants or bones.

This exhibition would not have been possible without the Centre d'Enseignement Professionnel de Vevey (CEPV), whose students and teachers provided the base, signage and assembly. They also participated in the creation of two major works, "Theory of involution" and "Tatzelwurm". The Museum of Supernatural Historyis thus the fruit of a joyful encounter between an artist, museums and a school.
